Many thanks to all those people, mostly staff (past and present) of Ashburton Community School who donated underwear for us to give out. Here you can see some of last year's nursery class looking happy with their new gear!
Charlie, it's a great blog!! You need to publicise it more. Put it on the Ashburton noticeboard or something. I'll forward the link to Danielle. Think about advertising for sponsors here, as I said this afternoon. You're doing a fantastic job, many congratulations! Love Jennifer xxxx
There are an estimated 630,000 children orphaned because of AIDS in Zambia. This site records the progress of a grass-roots project designed to bring hope to a small number of these kids who live in the village of Chilubula. The project is the brainchild of Chief Charlie Kambuka who will regularly post articles. As Chief is regularly travelling in Zambia, his friends and supporters will also contribute content. We hope you enjoy the site and please leave comments and messages of support.
